London spring alumni reception
Green Templeton was delighted to welcome over fifty alumni at a reception at the Oxford and Cambridge Club on Pall Mall on Wednesday 17 April.
Different generations of alumni engaged in animated dialogue about their time at college and personal and professional journeys since their time at Oxford.
Associate Fellow and member of the Principal’s Circle Chris Winchester addressed guests. He spoke of the great value in how ‘the college provides an avenue for practitioners like myself to engage with students and researchers.
‘Green Templeton is at the forefront of research in human medicine, science, social science and business… best placed to tackle the world’s most pressing problems.’
He concluded with a call to action,
‘Oxford has the potential to change the world. As members of the Green Templeton community we are lucky to be part of it and I want to encourage us all to be part of it.’
Developing local vibrant Green Templeton communities in cities around the world is a key aim for the college, if you would like to join the London steering group please get in touch with Sophie at alumni@gtc.oc.ac.uk who can connect you with our Chair, Dr Meera Joshi.
