Louisa Gnatiuc awarded World Heart Federation Emerging Leaders Programme Fellowship

982d25243633535b929804480c241412Senior epidemiologist and part-time DPhil student Louisa Gnatiuc (DPhil Population Health, 2016), based at the Nuffield Department of Population Health, has joined the International Advisory Board for the Lancet Global Health and has been awarded the World Heart Federation Emerging Leaders Programme Fellowship, an international initiative aiming to reduce premature mortality from cardiovascular disease due to diabetes, as a coordinated effort towards the WHO and the Sustainable Development Goals global targets.

With experience in acute medicine, epidemiology and public health in Europe, Africa, Asia and South America, Louisa is passionate about improving health at population level. Trained in epidemiology and public health with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Oxford University, Harvard University, and Johns Hopkins University, Louisa has held previous roles with Imperial College London and the UK Medical Research Council.
