Oxford Health Innovation Forum seeks Steering Group members

Lennard Lee at OHIF

The Oxford Health Innovation Forum (OHIF) is looking for 2-3 volunteer students or early career members of the Green Templeton College community to join its steering group this academic year (2026-27).

Based at Green Templeton College, OHIF brings together people, ideas and conversations that explore healthcare innovation, entrepreneurship, and the translation of research into real-world impact. Through a programme of events, the Forum aims to inspire and connect students and early career professionals with leaders, researchers, innovators and entrepreneurs working across health and care.

The Forum is overseen by a steering group that guides the programme’s activities and development. We are keen to recruit enthusiastic volunteers who can help shape the programme.

You are:

  • A student, researcher, or other early career member of the Green Templeton College community who will be connected to the college during the 2026-27 academic year
  • Interested in healthcare innovation, entrepreneurship, research translation, or related fields
  • Keen to contribute ideas, help shape events, and support the Forum’s activities
  • Able to commit to attending a small number of meetings and events during the academic year

You will:

  • Attend regular meetings (likely, one planning meeting per term, along with more frequent operational meetings on an ad-hoc basis)
  • Contribute ideas for talks, panel discussions, networking opportunities and other Forum activities
  • Plan and support a programme of events across the academic year
  • Build connections with those working in the sector

Benefits

  • Experience of programme development and event planning
  • Opportunities to expand your professional network
  • The chance to help shape a forum designed to support and inspire students and early career colleagues
