Robert Glaze (1950–2022)

Robert GlazeAssociate Fellow Robert Glaze died on 8 September 2022. Robert had been a fellow of Green Templeton College since 2011. He was a moderator of the Oxford Praxis Forum, exploring the nature of practice and theory in the management and leadership of institutions, corporations and governments.

Robert was a faculty member for the Oxford Strategic Leadership Programme from 2000 to 2012 and was an Executive Education alumnus (2001) and a supporter of the college.

Robert was a systems thinker and practitioner. As Founder/ President of The Brenva Institute, he provided strategic briefings, tutorials and research to senior executives and boards of global industries, corporations, central banks, governments and non-governmental organizations. At the institute he focused on knowledge development, knowledge transfer, practice led research and practical applications of primary and secondary technologies within modern representational systems.

Robert undertook many other professional roles including as an author and speaker on evolutionary economics development; executive faculty member at CEIBS Zurich; MBA Content Developer, IMD, Lausanne; Executive Chairman, TRIADadvisory for UK Pension Funds; and executive development tutor for Belgian, German and Chinese commercial firms.

A mass for Robert took place at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Pueblo, Colorado on Friday 16 September. Our thoughts are with Robert’s wife Aurora, his family and friends at this time. Please let Gillian Cane know if you would like to pass messages or tributes.
