Emeritus Fellow Sir Muir Gray celebrates staff step-a-thon success with book giveaway

Green Templeton College staff were thrilled to smash their recent step-a-thon target for Giving Day 2021.

Staff initially committed to walking 2,021,000 steps between Wednesday 19 May and Wednesday 2 June to raise funds for college, but through a tremendous group effort they more than doubled that figure, clocking up an incredible 4,184,918 steps instead!

Emeritus Fellow Sir Muir Gray celebrated the achievement by gifting signed copies of his book, Dr Gray’s Walking Cure, to all members of staff who took part. The book details how walking a little more each day can help you look better, feel better, and reduces the risks and effects of disease.

Sir Muir Gray is currently working on a second edition of the book.

Congratulations to all staff who took part!
