The Hilary term series of Reuters Institute seminars begin this week

By Matthew LeakeGreen Templeton College is proud to be the home of the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism (RISJ), engaging newsroom leaders from around the world and exploring the future of global journalism. The RISJ is based at Green Templeton’s site, 13 Norham Gardens, Oxford.

13 Norham Gardens during Oxford Open Doors 2019The Journalist Fellowship Programme at the Reuters Institute is one of the world’s leading schemes for practising, mid-career journalists to take some time out from their day jobs to explore journalism in depth through personal research, seminars, networking events and discussions with peers.

Seven journalists from five continents have joined the Fellowship programme at the Reuters Institute for Hilary term. You can read more about all current journalist fellows on the RISJ Fellows page. Over the next one or two terms they will spend time away from their newsrooms and work on a project that will be of direct impact to them, their newsroom and the wider media industry.

The Business and Practice of Journalism Seminars held each term at Green Templeton college provide exclusive insights on the industry, careers, and ways forward for journalism. They are open to all, with no registration required.
