Estefanía Ramírez Castillo (MSc Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation, 2021) and Andrew Durutalo (Executive MBA, 2021) have been selected for the Varsity Matches on Saturday 2 April.

The women’s Blues kick off at 12:30 followed by the men’s Blues at 15:30. Both matches against Cambridge will take place at Twickenham Stadium – the home of English rugby.

Andrew

This will be Andrew’s second Varsity Match, having played for last year’s victorious Oxford team. He is a USA international. Colombian international Estefanía will compete in this fixture for the first time this year at scrum half. Estefanía and Andrew both competed at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

With the first Varsity Match being played in 1872, it is one of the world’s longest running sporting fixtures. It represents the pinnacle of amateur and student rugby where Oxford and Cambridge compete for the title of Varsity holders.

Tickets are still available for the matches, that will be held on a Saturday at Twickenham for the first time in 75 years. Where to watch
