As Green Templeton’s Senior Tutor, Dr Alison Stenton directs the college’s graduate affairs and works with the Principal and college executive team on college strategy. Working closely with the College Office and Academic Projects teams, Alison is responsible for students’ academic progress, enrichment, welfare, admissions, graduation and funding. She is the college lead for Equality & Diversity.
As a Fellow of the college’s Governing Body, the Senior Tutor is responsible for the college’s Academic, Student Welfare and Medical Teaching committees. she also co-chairs the college’s EDI forum and the Staff-Student Liaison Forum.
Alison joined Green Templeton in Trinity 2018. Before then, Alison was the College Senior Tutor, and before that Director of the Extended Medical Degree Programme (2010-14) and tutor in Medical Humanities, at King’s College London. Alison has a PhD (King’s) in English Literature, specialising in eighteenth-century writing. She currently teaches a module on Health Humanities for Year 4 medical students.
