Adebisi Adenipekun

Adebisi is a public health and policy strategist with relevant experience in leading donor-funded projects and public sector initiatives promoting health system strengthening.

Adebisi studied for a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree at Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, and a Master of Public Health (Health Policy and Management) at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He also did a Global Health Leadership Accelerator certificate at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, USA.

Adebisi worked as an Engagement Manager with the Sydani Group (a management consulting firm). Adebisi concurrently provided technical assistance to the Federal Government of Nigeria in the COVID-19 response as the Deputy Programs Manager (Policy and Strategy) for the COVID-19 vaccination Crisis Communication Centre (CRICC) at the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA). Before joining the Sydani Group, Adebisi founded Lighthouse Global Health Initiative, a non-profit that envisions a world where vulnerable populations lead healthy and productive lives.

Adebisi is studying for a Master of Public Policy (MPP) at the University of Oxford. After his Master of Public Policy at the University of Oxford, Adebisi hopes to promote health system strengthening in Nigeria and across Africa. He looks forward to being at the forefront of health policy-making and implementation in Nigeria and globally through strategic government and UN positions, respectively.
