Arielys Liriano Trejo
MSc Environmental Change and Policy, 2026
Arielys is reading for an MSc in Environmental Change and Policy at the University of Oxford. Her interests span climate and energy policy, food systems, science and innovation, and sustainable development.
Prior to Oxford, Arielys earned a Master’s in International Governance and Diplomacy from Sciences Po Paris. Most recently, she served as an Associate Project Officer at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), where she supported national, regional, and interregional initiatives advancing sustainable energy and development.
Her experiences have sparked a particular interest in the space between environmental ambition and real-world implementation, especially how science, innovation, and effective governance can turn ideas into meaningful and lasting change. At Oxford, Arielys is eager to deepen her understanding of environmental systems and explore how science and policy can work together to advance equitable and sustainable solutions.
Beyond academia, Arielys is passionate about community engagement and enjoys hiking, running, photography, and exploring new places. She looks forward to connecting with the Green Templeton community, learning from different perspectives, and building lasting friendships.
