I am a member of the Indian Administrative Service (2003 batch) and am currently employed in the government of the youngest province in India, Andhra Pradesh. Prior to joining the service, I undertook my Master of Science in agriculture at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi and worked in the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development for a few years.

During the last 15 years, I have handled key assignments in the provincial government in areas of land administration, welfare, rural and urban development, health, health financing, industrial development, agriculture, disaster management and e-governance. I currently hold the post of CEO of the Real Time Governance Society, a planning and monitoring agency for the government of Andhra Pradesh.

I believe that the MPP is an ideal platform to compare and critically review my experiences with policy and administrative efforts across the world, thereby helping me to deal with major policy and implementation gaps in India.
