Benjamin Hodgson

DPhil Criminology, 2022

Ben is a DPhil student at the Oxford Centre for Criminology. His current research is concerned with the relationship between liberal ideologies, citizenship status, and disenfranchisement in cases of criminal or quasi-criminal conduct. This project is being carried out under the supervision of Professor Ian Loader.

Prior to his doctoral research, Ben was awarded an MA with Distinction in Political Thought by the University of Exeter, and a BA (Hons) in Law, Philosophy, and Political Theory by the Open University.
