Bhavya Bhushan
Bhavya is a Clarendon Scholar pursuing an MRes in Oncology at the University of Oxford with membership at Green Templeton College. She recently graduated from McGill University with an Honours Bachelors in Anatomy and Cell Biology. Having first developed a love for research in high school, she has since built a strong foundation in cancer and molecular biology, with her undergraduate work spanning cancer cell metabolism, autophagy, and the unfolded protein response.
Her academic interests lie in translational oncology and bridging discoveries in the lab with therapeutic advances in the clinic. Beyond her studies, Bhavya enjoys climbing, hiking, traveling, painting, and spending time at the gym, and she has a long-standing involvement in sports, from national-level swimming in India to varsity athletics in Canada during high school, including badminton, water polo, ultimate frisbee, and dragon boating.
