Elim Shanko, originally from Ethiopia, completed her undergraduate degree in Politics in the United States before earning a Master’s in International Human Rights Law through the Mandela Rhodes Scholarship.

Elim has already worked in the sustainability and development sector, with particular interests in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. She hopes to play a pivotal role in entrepreneurship and shaping Africa’s industrial future, driven by her mission to create a more sustainable and equitable world.

Outside her studies, Elim is an active member of the Oxford Africa Business Alliance and is the founder of Regenerative Africa, an organisation focused on driving energy justice and sustainable growth across the continent.
