Gemma Marshall

DPhil Interdisciplinary Life and Environmental Science, 2025

I am super excited to be starting a DPhil on the Interdisciplinary Life and Environmental Science programme. I previously studied biology at Warwick, followed by a master’s in bacterial pathogenesis and infection at Imperial, and have just finished a year working in a research laboratory. I now want to explore the fascinating and topical area of antimicrobial resistance and novel therapeutic targets.
I grew up in Luxembourg and was the national figure skating champion there. I also enjoy running and reading and am really looking forward to joining Green Templeton College and getting to know everyone!
