Joannie completed her undergraduate degree at McGill University, joint-majoring in Computer Science and Biology. She is interested in the ethics and impacts of emerging technologies, particularly on healthcare access in developing regions and marginalised communities. She is also curious about the media ecosystem and disinformation, and their impact on policy development and social attitudes.
