Josh Thomas Georgy
MSc Precision Cancer Medicine, 2025
I am a Clarendon Scholar pursuing the MSc in Precision Cancer Medicine at the Department of Oncology, University of Oxford. I am a medical oncologist from India currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, India.
My clinical practice spans solid tumours, with a focus on triple-negative breast cancer, head and neck cancers, and lung cancer. Alongside clinical work I am involved in investigator-initiated clinical research. I lead and collaborate on multiple prospective and retrospective studies exploring treatment optimisation, low-dose immunotherapy, and microbiome modulation.
I joined the MSc in Precision Cancer Medicine at the University of Oxford to deepen my understanding of genomics, bioinformatics, pharmacogenomics, and to strengthen my ability to design and lead precision-driven cancer research with global relevance.
Outside of work I enjoy traveling with family, reading science fiction and playing guitar.
