Julia completed her undergraduate studies in Public Health at the George Washington University – Milken Institute School of Public Health before working in Washington, D.C. as a health policy and data analyst focused on U.S. federal health policy and applied health analytics. Her work informed Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) policy decisions on alternative payment models, program integrity, and value-based care. Julia’s research background includes work with the IDEAMAPS Network at the George Washington University, where she contributed to the development of participatory, high-resolution mapping systems that integrate satellite imagery, spatial data, and community knowledge to improve the understanding of deprived urban areas.

Julia is currently reading for an MSc in Modelling for Global Health, where she is building expertise in health economics, medical statistics, and mathematical modelling to support evidence-based decision-making in the health sector.
