Hi! My name is Lena, and prior to arriving at GTC, I studied biology and neuroscience at MIT. My first degree and work experience in research and pharmaceuticals drew me to pursue medicine. I love learning from other people’s stories of resilience and being inspired to become more compassionate and curious.

I’m really looking forward meeting and learning from my GTC and Oxford peers and tutors! In my free time, I love playing tennis, painting, learning about other people’s cultures (I’m a blend of American, Welsh/British, and Chinese!), and spending time with friends and family.
