Rayan Mama
MSc Migration Studies, 2025
Rayan Mama is pursuing an MSc in Migration Studies at the University of Oxford. A first-generation immigrant from India to the United Kingdom, with Indian and Brazilian heritage, his research has previously focused on how local and regional politics can vary immigration enforcement, alongside how states may facilitate the labour bargaining of their citizens who migrate abroad.
Rayan is a graduate of New York University, where he completed a Bachelor’s degree with honours in International Relations and History, alongside a minor in Public Policy Analysis. His hobbies include Art and Architectural History, Musical Theatre, Panel Shows, and exploring cities.
