I am currently pursuing the Master of Public Policy (MPP) at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford after having received the ‘Strengthening the Capacity of Public Administration for Achieving SDGs’ scholarship of the Government of Bangladesh. I am a lawyer, researcher and political activist from Bangladesh. Prior to coming to Oxford, I served as a ‘Special Assistant’ to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh. I hold an LLB from the University of London and an LLM (Human Rights) from the University of Hong Kong. I was a recipient of the Wong Family Human Rights Scholarship at Hong Kong. I received training as a barrister from City, University of London and the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, and am enrolled as an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. I have received advanced training on communications from the National University of Singapore, and on political management from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, Germany. My professional and research interests include strategic communications, international relations, public law, human rights, governance and activism. I am passionate about my family, movies and cricket.
