The Emerging Markets Symposium
The Emerging Markets Symposium (EMS) promotes solutions to high priority sectoral issues facing emerging market countries (EMCs) by building consensus among opinion leaders and supporting their efforts to implement solutions in their respective spheres of influence. The value added by the EMS, which is based at Green Templeton College, is measured by changes in public, private and voluntary sector policies and practices that have a beneficial impact on emerging market countries.
The distinctive identity of the EMS is shaped by the issues it covers and how it covers them. Subject to the evolving priorities of EMCs the five year agenda of the EMS covers Health, Environment, Energy, Technology and Education.
The EMS is funded by a generous grant from the C&C Alpha Group and a contribution from Green Templeton College.
