Dr Neo Tapela

Dr Neo Tapela is an Associate Fellow and the Equality & Diversity Champion at Green Templeton College, and is a Senior Research Fellow at the Nuffield Department of Population Health, University of Oxford.

She is an internal medicine physician, epidemiologist and healthcare services researcher from Botswana with over a decade’s experience investigating the determinants of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and solutions for equitable service delivery in sub-Saharan Africa. Her work is driven by a social justice mission, and she has hands-on program leadership experience in the public and non-profit sectors where she has achieved institutional policy change.
