Dr Tarun Gupta

Dr Tarun Gupta is a Teaching Associate at Green Templeton College, University of Oxford.

Tarun graduated from Oxford in 2012, starting as a specialty registrar in Gastroenterology and General Medicine in the West Midlands deanery.

Tarun completed a DPhil with Professor Alison Simmons and Dr Oliver Brain at the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine and Translational Gastroenterology Unit (Oxford) investigating checkpoint-inhibitor induced gastrointestinal disease and inflammatory bowel disease in 2023.

Tarun is currently an NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer in Gastroenterology at the JR, working towards understanding the immune, microbiome and metabolomic landscape in health and inflammation.
