The 2022 Human Welfare Conference invited students, artists, and scholars to Green Templeton to discuss the role of art in medicine and healing, politics and social movements, and environment and climate change.

The co-chairs, Midori Hosoda and Giada Portaluppi, commissioned Artist-in-Residence Weimin He to create an abstract piece capturing the conference theme and live piano performance by then-Musician-in-Residence Maki Sekiya.

The art piece is now complete and its official commemorative event is taking place featuring a Q&A session with Weimin. The chair for the 2023 Human Welfare Conference will also be giving us a sneak peek of what is coming up at Psychedelics: Revolution and Renaissance in Human Welfare on Monday 15 May.

Wine, soft drinks, and snacks will be provided.

Please contact Midori Hosoda with any questions.
