Applications now open for All-Innovate Competition Trinity 2021
Green Templeton College is once again participating in the University of Oxford’s All-Innovate Competition, run by the Oxford Foundry.
Applications for the Trinity 2021 round are now open.

As a partnering college, students from any department are invited to pitch an entrepreneurial idea or venture for a chance to win from the £20,000 prize funding pot, and receive support to help turn your idea into a reality, or build up your existing venture.
There are also a series of workshops available with expert mentors to help build new skills to enhance your career.
All-Innovate aims to encourage all students, regardless of discipline, to develop an entrepreneurial skill set and generate entrepreneurial ideas. Inclusivity and diversity are at the forefront of its ethos.
We look forward to hearing your great ideas!
How do I enter?
Contact naomi.benson@gtc.ox.ac.uk for the application form.
You will need to complete the application form and record a short two-minute video about your pitch in the first round.
This year, all applicants are offered the opportunity to attend virtual idea development workshops.
The deadline for Trinity applications is Sunday 6 June 2021.
What are the prizes?
This year, there are two competition rounds across Hilary and Trinity, so double the chance of winning!
Details about who won the Hilary term All-Innovate prizes can be found here.
In Trinity, there will be a top prize of £10,000 for the best idea and then two further prizes of £5,000 each for the best undergraduate and best graduate ideas.
How the competition works
Judges will shortlist their top two applications from each college. Feedback will be given to all entrants.

- Thursday 10 to Friday 11 June: Ideas bootcamp for all applicants.
- Monday 14 June: Selection bootcamp, final ten teams announced
- Thursday 1 July: Trinity final and winners announced

- How well does your idea address the problem?
- Strength of team
- Potential viability of the idea
- Quality of application

What began as routine landscaping work on the front lawn has taken a rather unexpected turn…
Earlier this week, contractors uncovered what appear to be dinosaur bones.
Initial (very enthusiastic) assessments suggest the remains could belong to a previously unknown species, tentatively named Green Templetonosaurus.
We’ll share further updates as soon as we know more… 🦖
When the researcher becomes the patient.
In this thought-provoking reflection for The Times Magazine, Research Fellow Karl Smith Byrne shares what tackling cancer has taught him both in his work and in his own life.
Diagnosed with rectal cancer at just 27, Karl brings a rare dual perspective to his field, combining research with lived experience to advocate for greater focus on prevention and more patient-centred science.
A compelling insight into resilience and the future of cancer research.
