Dr Susan James Relly becomes Professor in 2021 Recognition of Distinction

Governing Body Fellow Susan James Relly has received a 2021 Recognition of Distinction. This honour confers the title of Professor at the University of Oxford.

Susan is the first Professor of Vocational Education at the university. She is Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Associate Head (Education) – Social Sciences Division. Her area of research interest is in vocational education and training policy; apprenticeship and work based learning; social mobility and non-graduate occupations; and further education, teaching and learning. Susan is also the Director of SKOPE, which focuses on policy and practice at the intersection of education, skills, and employment.

In her role as Governing Body Fellow at Green Templeton, Susan is Equality and Diversity Fellow and a member of the Building Committee.
