Paul Corris 2026 Profile Picture In Open Neck Shirt And SweaterAssociate Fellow Professor Paul Corris has been awarded Fellowship of the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT) in recognition of achievements on the international stage in this area.

The distinction is conferred in recognition of exemplary service as a past president and enduring leadership within the ISHLT community.

The Fellow of ISHLT designation represents one of the Society’s highest honours. It acknowledges members who have made significant and sustained contributions to the field of heart and lung disease, as well as to the growth, mission, and global impact of ISHLT. Paul’s leadership, dedication, and commitment have helped shape the Society and advance the care of patients worldwide.

Paul said of this most recent recognition,

‘I am proud and honoured to have received this award from the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation in recognition of my leadership and contributions on the International Stage in this field. Transplantation requires a considerable team approach in research and innovation to improve outcomes for our patients and important to note that personal awards really do reflect on the contributions and efforts one’s team.’

Professor Paul Corris is Emeritus Professor of Thoracic Medicine and a graduate of University College and Westminster Medical School London.
