New endowed Oxford PharmaGenesis Doctoral Scholarship

Green Templeton College, University of Oxford is delighted to welcome a new Oxford PharmaGenesis DPhil Scholarship in Translational Health.

The scholarship has been established through an endowment gift of £1,660,000 from Oxford PharmaGenesis, now part of the Klick Health family, creating a permanent fund to support doctoral (DPhil) students undertaking outstanding postgraduate research in the field of translational health.

The scholarship will be open to applicants accepted for the DPhil in Translational Health Sciences in the University of Oxford’s Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, starting in October 2027. The deadline for applications is Tuesday 1 December 2026 at 12:00 GMT.

Preference will be given to research examining the human, organisational and societal factors influencing the adoption, dissemination and integration of research discoveries into routine practice, with the aim of improving the equity, effectiveness and impact of healthcare delivery.

The scholarship will cover fees in full together with an annual stipend to cover living costs at the UK Research and Innovation recommended level (£21,805 in 2026/27, typically tax-free) for three years of research. In line with Green Templeton’s policy of seeking inclusive scholarships, it will additionally cover college continuation charges and provide a bursary in Year 4 to support writing up. If an international scholar holding overseas fee status is selected by the Department, an additional bursary will be provided upon enrolment as a contribution towards some mandatory pre-arrival expenses.

This endowed scholarship expands Oxford PharmaGenesis’s support for the college and, in particular, research in the area of translation health sciences. It builds on a one-off scholarship on digital tools and dermatology to advance diversity in medicine that the company supported from 2022 to 2026.
