Green Templeton College is a graduate community specialising in medicine, management and applied social sciences.
The college welcomes a diverse and international mix of students each year, providing the basis for a large number of college sports teams, societies and other in-house groups, and a valuable support network for both social and academic initiatives.
There is a sizeable student population of over 600; our enrolled students represent over 70 nationalities.

We are offering some college tours, led by current students throughout June and early July. These are a great opportunity for prospective students and offer holders to find out more about Green Templeton from the student perspective.

With a stated specialism in subjects connected with human welfare, our academic strategy sets out particular aims around policy and practice, including healthcare, social, environmental and economic policy worldwide.
Academic and financial support for all students
Assigning a College Adviser for every student from among the fellowship and senior members of the college, and learning grants for every student to support fieldwork, conference attendance, language learning and student-led academic activities.
Clinical student migration

Accommodation on and off site nearby, including study bedrooms for single students and apartments or houses for couples, sharers and families.
Varied social activities
Something for everyone’s taste, from active sports and societies to Sunday brunches, discussions and yoga on the lawn. Our social activities include GTC Performs!, a termly cabaret night where all members of GTC are welcomed to perform or join the audience. The college GCR Committee create and deliver term cards full of opportunities for coming together including working with our Artist-in-Residence Weimin He for informal drawing classes.
We are delighted to announce Green Templeton’s Community & Giving Week, taking place from 20–26 June 2026🥳
Throughout the week, we’ll be raising funds for student support while celebrating our wonderful community. There will be opportunities to volunteer you time to help our students, take part in college competitions and unlock additional funds through community challenges.
Early giving is now open, and thanks to a group of generous supporters, we have £20,000 to match donations ahead of 20 June.

This year’s theme is ‘The student experience’ — and we’re looking for striking, imaginative photographs that explore this and what it means to you!

A tour of the gardens through the eyes of a 15-year-old work experience student.
Maddie Bennett from Bartholomew School in Eynsham spent last week with the communications team at college and found some friendly faces too!
Last week, the college welcomed guests for a special afternoon marking the launch of the Pirie Society.
The event celebrated the college’s new legacy society and recognised those who are considering, or have chosen, to leave a gift in their will to the college.
Their generosity will help shape the future of the college for generations to come.
